Chris Stanton from ESDN/METRO and Liza Harrell-Edge from The New School Archives will present on contributing metadata from CollectiveAccess to the Digital Public Library of America (through the Empire State Digital Network, the New York State service hub for the DPLA). Chris will discuss the requirements and processes for CollectiveAccess users in the METRO community to contribute to DPLA, and Liza will present about contributing to DPLA from the perspective of a CollectiveAccess user.
The presentation will include information on metadata requirements and best practices for contributing to DPLA as well as configuring your CollectiveAccess site to provide metadata for harvesting by ESDN.
